Jacqueline Alvarado, Owner
Jacqueline is a 2005 graduate of Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. During her time at ASU she earned a Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in Strategic Media and Public Relations, as well as a minor in Communications. Upon graduation, she was promoted to the role of Supplier Diversity Coordinator at Salt River Project, during which time she worked directly with management in the re-launch of the company's Supplier Diversity initiative. In this capacity she planned and executed major corporate events, realizing her passion and ability to bring the entire concept together. In her role she also served as a liaison between SRP and the diverse business community, where she saw the need for publicity in the small and diverse business community. After her daughter, Addison, was born in 2008, she decided to pursue her dream of entrepreneurship. She launched Avocado Pr in 2009, offering a more intimate, personal approach to events and publicity in the Phoenix area, from business meetings and luncheons, to weddings and baby showers…and everything in between.
Jacque currently enjoys running, hiking and spending time with her husband and their daughters, Addison and Evelyn. She resides in Phoenix where she and her family attend Calvary Community Church.
